This page is under Construction The Liberal Party of Kurdistan is a liberal Party open to Kurdistans intellectuals regardless of their religion region ethnic group or gender. LPK works through ought peaceful means to reach political power in order to execute its objectives and programs. The Liberal Party of Kurdistan is built on the liberal principles based on: 1. Personal liberties. 2. Personal responsibility. 3. Social justice. The objectives of LPK: The Liberal Party of Kurdistan is working to achieve the next objectives: 1. Exploding the energies of the Kurdistans citizens, and raising the spirit of initiative and personal responsibly. 2. Launching an intellectual liberal revolution, based on the rights of the individual and his initiative and creation, to change the map of concepts, ideas and practices in Kurdistan. 3. Securing the individual liberties from any intervention or limitation, from the side of the state, and from all hegemony of totalitarian parties and fanatic ideologies, and from whatever threatens or limits the human freedoms 4. Building a stable parliamentary system of governance, under a democratic constitution which protects all individual liberties and within a government engaged to guarantee the basic freedoms, articulated in international law and Human rights' conventions. 5. Establishing a practical liberal program, to raise the country from its current economical and political crisis. 6. Working to guarantee the basic services for Kurdistan citizens. 7. Working for social justice, as a duty resulted from the progress of societies, from the principles of peaceful human co-existence. Such social justice should be based on the concepts of solidarity, co-operation, and respect of human dignity. 8. Launching and supporting free initiatives to activate Kurdistans economy, supporting the legal economical activities of Kuristaese businessmen and foreign investors, and linking Kurdistans economy with the International markets. 10. Carrying an international policy based on the principles of peace, human rights respect, and regional and international economical co-operation, which serves the economical growth of Kurdistan, and guarantees the stability of its democratic system. Methods of action: In order to execute the above objectives LPK adopt the next methods in its activities: 1. Dialog and peaceful means as the only means to reach power. 2. Transparency clearness and openness in addressing members, supporters and citizens. 3. Renewal and scientific approach in articulating ideas programs and slogans. 4. Building the Party as a modern democratic institution away from the illnesses of sectarianism, ideologism , regionalism and ethnisism. 5. Building a liberal youth movement and a liberal women movement, to support the LPK activities, and to widen the base of liberal thought in the society. 6. Co-operation with civil society organizations, political and social research centers and alike. 7. Adopting and supporting liberal relations and concepts in fields of economics, politics, and social sphere. 8. Openness to the achievement of human civilization and the fruits of social and technical progress. 9. Adopting the international charters and conventions on human rights, and making it part of Kurdistans constitution and laws. 10.
